To fix that, I had to remove all the files in the C / User / AppData / Roaming / Avid / Eleven folder. The Eleven Rack Editor would not connect even though the ER Control Panel could, so i have switched from a USB 3 port to a USB 2 and removed the USB extension i was using, and this let the ER Editor load correctly, but i couldn't be sure.because the window would minimize automatically and i could never open it to see. However, i've had a ton of issues since then : ![]() Sorry.Īnyone following this will be glad to know i fixed it by uninstalling the iLok software (LicenseSupportInstallerWin64_v3.1.1_r34746) and installing the old legacy drivers from the site (LicenseSupportInstallerWin64_v2_4_7_r27997), 64 bit version, even though according to the iLok site those drivers are for VISTA and older. I'm desperate, as you can hear from my tone. Since i got myself an analogue speaker simulator i'm really realizing that the Eleven is just a very expensive waste of space.Īnyway, i need to get PT10 running for other reasons and these damn errors are preventing from doing it. Let's face it, the Eleven doesn't even sound good and it cannot be used as a regular sound card outside of PT as far as i know. I am this close to selling the Eleven and vowing to stay away from all AVID products. I've looked around on the net and cannot find a solution. This software requires installation of the interlok(r) device drivers bla-bla-bla. Fair enough.Īnd then, when every single plugin loads i get the following message : When i open it, first i get a very annoying message telling me i have an NTFS drive with a name longer than 11 characters ('System Reserved'). I've rebooted, reinstalled the iLok software, still the problem persists. I have the latest drivers for the iLok and all my software is up to date. I downloaded the latest PT10 version (10.3.10) for Windows 7 64 bit. ![]() It's possible that your computer may not be the best choices for newer versions of PT and if thats the case you might want to just save your money.Īlso by punching the whole error code of your BSOD (the 0x000000, 0x00003, 0x000001 string of numbers) into Google you may find a specific answer as to whats causing it.I have an Eleven Rack, which came with an iLok 2 and a PT 10 license. You might want to follow the instructions in the "Us Help You" link at the top of the forum and post a SiSoft Sandra system report which will let us look at your current configuration and offer suggestions. Keep in mind that its possible that may change between now and PT11s release. The preliminary specs for PT11 - which is just around the corner show the MBox2 Pro as being supported. Please that Vista 64 bit is not supported. If your going to run Windows 64bit you are probably going to want to add as much RAM as your motherboard will hold. PT11 will be Windows 7 or 8 in 64bit only. If want to upgrade to PT9/10/11 your going to need Windows 7 in either 32 or 64 bit. If I do a factory reset of my PC can I purchase an upgrade to proTools which will still allow me to use my MBox2 Pro interface ? Or do I have to go back to the start ? I have had blue screen (of death) issues sporadically with this which now is getting more regular. At the time I bought a MBox2 Pro interface which connects via Firewire (I am running ProTools 7.4LE). ![]() I have a Windows Vista PC purchased in 2008.
