We were basically in a big stroller for the rest of the ride. ![]() When we finally got on the ride, 1/3 the way through, all of our shooting scores zeroed out and the laser guns stopped working. We waited in line for 45 min while they worked to get the ride back up and running. The Kingdom Quest ride STILL brakes down. If the center was for 10 and younger before, it's now for about 7 and under. My two boys (ages 7 and 10) were there for the Grand Re-opening Weekend, April 2023. The only add-on for our ticket that I thought was worth it was the Virtual Reality. If you want to design mini-figures with special clothes, do this in the gift shop in the mall, outside of the attraction. These were pre-bagged, pre-put together mini figures. I thought these would be the customizable mini-figures that you design their clothes on a computer, but I was wrong. I purchased tickets that included photos and we only saw one spot to take pictures and that wasn’t very special. Things that interested them at their current age were the Virtual Reality experience (which was only approximately 3 minutes and you can only do once) and an area where you put together Lego cars and test them out on inclined ramps. ![]() They have a small ride where you shoot at targets, a small merry-go-round, and a playground that would have thrilled my kids at ages 4-6, but not so much now. Granted they’re more interested in putting together Legos now, but the attractions at Legoland Discovery are definitely aimed for young kids. My kids are 8 and 10 and I think they would have loved this a lot more when they were 4-6. I think it was worth the price if you're able to get a discount. Overall, it was very family friendly and really fun. Then the catcher - the lego store as you leave. They had a dining area with Starbucks too. They had a softer playground for the little kids too and Legos throughout. Lastly there's pirate Island with slides and little jungle gym for kids. There's a lego playground where the master builder helped kids create devices to play on the set up there. Then there was a station where you could create your own spaceship and use it on a screen. The chairs didn't move, but you did get to feel weather elements. There was a 4d movie theater - it was really nice. Then we did this ride around interactive thing. ![]() Theres a room where they've replicated the city of Atlanta - super cool and very detailed. This was an additional $6 since it wasn't Included in my ticket price. They had a virtual reality room with 6 (I think) chairs. They had a photo stand where you could scan your ticket and take a photo with your family. Upon entering there's barrels of Legos and the super nice lady described that we could create on our lego - Torso, head, hair and legs (BUT.you don't get to keep it and have to return it before you leave). All the workers had smiles and were super friendly. You have to take the escalators or elevator to the 3rd floor and there you'll find Legoland. It's located inside Phillips plaza - I didn't know about parking they had a parking garage attached but I didn't know if it was free so I parked in front.
